Production facility

Spread over a production floor area of nearly 100,000 square feet, SBG has comprehensive and advanced facilities and a manufacturing process that is ISO 9002 certified.

With the recent addition of a new manufacturing plant, we are able to produce upto one million LPG cylinders per annum to service the requirements of our domestic and global customers.

Quality control

At SBG, product quality is indeed an obsession and is the result of a well-designed and organized system. Quality is built into products and checked by stringent quality checks at every stage of operation – from raw material selection to the finished product.

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the authorized inspection agency on behalf of our customers authenticates quality right from the inflow of raw materials. Every batch of finished product at SBG receives a thorough quality check.

This obsession for quality is reinforced by some of the best facilities for process control, online inspection and testing, lab facilities for mechanical tests and packaging checks. These facilities enable us to attain precise dimensional tolerances, desired mechanical properties and attractive finishes to meet the exacting demands of all customers, both inland and overseas.

It may not be surprising though that the Export Promotion Council has qualified SBG to self inspect and authorize its own cylinders and components for export!
